Kavitha to Embark on “Jagruthi Janambata” — A Journey to Listen, Learn, and Lead
Starting October 25, Kalvakuntla Kavitha is set to launch a people’s outreach movement titled “Jagruthi Janambata” — a journey that aims to reconnect with the soul of Telangana.
Through this yatra, Kavitha plans to engage with intellectuals and connect directly with the people to shape an agenda grounded in public aspirations rather than political rhetoric. Over the next four months, she will travel across the length and breadth of Telangana, dedicating four days a week to meeting people — spending two days in each district.
During her visits, she is expected to stay at the residences of Telangana Jagruthi cadres, reinforcing her commitment to simplicity, inclusiveness, and grassroots engagement.
Her goal is to understand the real hopes and hardships of every section of society — farmers, women, youth, students, intellectuals, journalists, workers, entrepreneurs, poets, and artists alike. She intends to ask a profound question:
“How far have we fulfilled the dream for which Telangana was created?”
Kavitha believes that only by listening to the people can one truly understand what Telangana society wants and needs today. Her deep affection for Telangana’s culture and traditions continues to inspire her mission. From the beginning, her vision has been clear — that the Telangana achieved through struggle must now bring prosperity and justice to all.
