JAGRUTHI PRESIDENT K KAVITHA RESCUES WORKER FROM SAUDI ARABIA

Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha came to the rescue of a migrant worker who was being tortured by his employer in Saudi Arabia and ensured his return to his village.
Ankamolla Ravi, a native of Armoor, Nizamabad district who had gone to Saudi Arabia six years ago claimed his employer routinely beat him up. After a recent bout of physical abuse, a hapless Ravi posted a video of his bloodied face on social media.
Ravi's family approached Narsimha Naidu, president of Gulf Victims Welfare Association seeking help, who in turn brought the issue to the notice of former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha.
Kavitha, immediately brought the matter to the notice of Union Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Twitter and also sought the External Affairs Ministry's intervention in rescuing Ankamolla Ravi.

TELANGANA JAGRUTHI RESCUING INDIANS STRANDED IN KUWAIT.

Kalvakuntla Kavitha's NGO Telangana Jagruthi, through its programme - Jagruthi Chetuya - has funded the air journey of the Indians living in Kuwait, who could not afford a trip back to Hyderabad. The Telangana-based NGO initiated the programme keeping in mind that Kuwait's amnesty date is coming to an end on Thursday. Telangana Jagruthi's General Secretary Naveen Achari, told media, "After seven years, Kuwait government has given amnesty to many citizens of Telangana who are staying illegally there." After the first batch of nine people reached Shamshabad on Tuesday evening, one of the rescued said, "We were working in Kuwait illegally. Few of us had no jobs and income there, so we were without food and helpless. With the help of Telangana Jagruti, today we reached back to India."

KAVITHA HELPS REPATRIATE REMAINS OF TELANGANA ELDER FROM SAUDI ARABIA DURING COVID

An uncle of a member of the Telangana community passed away in Saudi Arab. When Sankeerth K. Reached out for help on Twitter, Telangana Jagruthi President K. Kavitha responded and organized the repatriation of the mortal remains of Sankeeth's uncle, late Haricharan garu. All this was done amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
